DUAL Practice Manager & Clinical Psychologist Position

The Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness is an exciting and fast-growing psychotherapy private practice committed to providing the highest quality evidence-based teletherapy. We are a team of over 30 doctoral psychologists. Our providers are located across the country and include professors, authors of gold-standard books in the field, and researchers who have conducted vital clinical studies. We have been featured as experts in The New York Times, Harper’s Bazaar, Huff Post, Parade, Real Simple, Verywell Mind, Psych Central, Mic, Prevention, and other publications. We are able to serve over 40 states and the District of Columbia

We are currently seeking doctoral-level (PhD or PsyD) licensed clinical psychologists authorized to practice through PSYPACT (or eligible for and willing to obtain PSYPACT authorization; check here to see if you are in a participating state) for a unique remote position.

Unlike a traditional therapist role, this position combines clinical practice with meaningful leadership responsibilities. This is an exceptional opportunity for a psychologist who is interested in expanding beyond direct clinical work, gaining hands-on experience in the management, growth, and strategic development of a successful private practice while helping shape the future of the organization.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with practice directors on strategic initiatives and operational improvements

  • Providing leadership, guidance, and support to administrative team members, including office managers, intake coordinators, and billing personnel

  • Assisting with provider recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding

  • Overseeing credentialing, insurance relationships, vendors, and practice systems

  • Developing marketing initiatives and business development strategies

  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and implement new processes

  • Monitoring practice metrics and supporting data-informed decision-making

We offer generous compensation that exceeds typical private practice rates, along with the opportunity to build expertise in areas rarely available to clinicians outside of practice ownership.

Because this position combines two distinct and complementary roles — Practice Manager and Clinical Psychologist — we have outlined the responsibilities, qualifications, and expectations for each role below.
