I am a licensed psychologist with over two decades of experience providing a variety of research-based treatments at all levels of care with clients from all age groups and backgrounds. The primary focus of my work has been treating adults and adolescents with anxiety and affective disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, substance use disorders, and co-morbid medical conditions. Evidence-based modalities I implement include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT, including mindfulness), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Gottman Method couples therapy. These approaches are integrated to form an individualized treatment plan based on desired goals and learning styles. Clients typically learn a variety of tools to implement outside of sessions to improve emotion regulation, identify and change maladaptive thought patterns, balance autonomic nervous system reactions, and improve relationships with interpersonal boundaries and assertive communication. This is then combined with in-session experiential exercises.

I provide teletherapy so that issues can be addressed in the environment in which they occur. I have found clients often feel more comfortable exploring areas of distress from within the safety of their own homes. I strive to accommodate client schedules by offering both day and evening appointments. I look forward to working together!
